Some campsites choose not to take card payments online. When you book with one, your pitch is still booked, and the campsite arranges payment with you directly, for example by bank transfer or on arrival.
Your confirmation email is still your proof of booking. If you're unsure how the campsite wants to be paid, contact them directly and quote your booking reference.
